Healing Our Planet: Spread the Word!

Most of the time I feel like I am preaching to the choir. Wait! I am preaching to the choir. Those of you who follow me obviously have the same passions. But, how do we spread the word to those who are less conscious?

My friend, Wriston, came up with a marvelous solution. Put a sign out in your yard for all to see. Maybe, just maybe, someone will look at it and go, “Really? I didn’t know that.”

Here are some signs I think would be good to post.

Roundup
To order this sign email safegardening@gmail.com

We all know that Monsanto is evil, or at least that is my opinion. How one company is able to get away with causing so much disease in the guise of helping the world is absolutely beyond me. Not only does Roundup cause cancer, but it contributes to many other diseases as well. We won’t even go into GMOs here.

The sign I would put up next to it is:

Recycle

In previous posts I have expounded on what plastic in particular is doing to our planet. It is not biodegradable. The city in which I live provides recycling bins, and it picks up almost everything that is recyclable. You don’t even have to sort it. But, it still amazes me how many people in my neighborhood don’t take the time to sort out the real trash from the recyclables.

War is not the answer

I am, afterall, the Peaceful Foodie. And speaking of food:

bandiera-slow-foodEating unprocessed foods is so much better for us. I highly recommend it.

As soon as I have my signs, and have put them in my yard, I will post them for you to see.
