Hot Chocolate — Easy, Delicious, Paleo

It’s colder than usual in Atlanta today, which put me in the mood for hot chocolate. I came across this recipe from Oh Snap Let’s Eat, and thought I would share it.

I have found that when buying commercial coconut or almond milk, they often times have additives in them. I now make my own almond milk, and carefully read the ingredients on the coconut milk containers to make sure that it is 100%. As with anything that is “light” or “fat free,” additives are there to make it taste better. This does not make it better for you.

Let’s Do Organic Creamed Coconut, 7-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) This is great product and very tasty.

Recipe Notes

Note, the original recipe only calls for 1/2 tsp of honey, but I didn't find it sweet enough. Also, it calls for cooking it in a microwave. I don't have one of those.
