It’s Not Just a Phone Anymore

I just want you to know I miss my brother terribly. He had me so spoiled. He was the chief cook and bottle washer when he lived with me for three years. And boy, could he cook. I am a recipe girl myself, but my brother, Allen, could look in the refrigerator, pantry and/or freezer and come up with ideas in his head that would turn into fabulous restaurant quality meals. Salisbury Steak

Remember this? I was trying to figure out something different to do with my ground bison yesterday, and I came across this Salisbury steak recipe. I literally have not had Salisbury steak since the 60s when it came in this tray,maybe? Well this recipe looked great, so I adapted it to my bison (I rarely eat ground beef anymore, bison just tastes better). It was delicious. I had some zucchini on hand and made these fried zucchini chips.

I Have Been Gone for Two Weeks, but I’m Back!

I have been gone for the last two weeks traveling. First I went to Boulder, Colorado to visit friends for Thanksgiving, and then I went to Beverly, Massachusetts for business. All of that was complicated with a cold. I haven’t had one of those in about three years. But, I am lucky in that I believe I don’t have to be a slave to viruses, and I was able to shoo that cold away in five days instead of the normal two weeks.
